Geox footwear unveiled

Italian footwear brand Geox is set to breathe new life into the golf market with the UK launch of its innovative GeoX Net range to be featured at the London Golf Show (ExCeL from April 30- May 2) and O2 Golf Live (Stoke Park from May 14-16).

The Geox Net system, with its breathable, waterproof membrane, full-grain leather uppers and a lightweight, moulded EVA sole has been designed, say the makers, specifically for golfers, allowing the foot to breathe without water penetration.

With a wide range of colours and colour-combinations available, prices for men's shoes start at £159.99 and for women £99.99.

Say Geox Golf’s brand manager, Per Aagren: “Perspiration increases dramatically in the foot during a round of golf, exacerbated further by climatic conditions such as humidity and rain. The comfort of the player is essential as is perspiration to be wicked away while preventing moisture finding its way into the shoe and that’s what the patented Geox Net system achieves.”

Golfers purchasing Geox shoes at either of the shows will receive a free shoe bag worth £15.99.
