Putter makers extends its range
Yes! Golf, renowned for its range of distinctive C-groove putters used by many of the game's leading Tour event winners, has extended its range of clubs to wedges. Available in 52 and 56 degree lofts initially with 58 and 60-degree models to come soon, the wedges feature Dynamic Gold S200 shafts. with precision-milled hairline grooves between primary U-shaped grooves on the club face. The clubs, say the makers, also have a long hosel and a higher centre of gravity than most to help deliver great backspin when needed. Glare-resistant black chrome-plate finish completes the package for £99.99. Yes! Golf's Peter Allison says : “It’s a combination of our increased presence on the Tour and our growing number of custom-fit centres that is helping to bring this technology to a growing number of club golfers. It makes perfect timing for us to offer a wedge.” However, he says the company has no plans to provide a full set of clubs.
