New Year date for Nike One RZN balls

The new Nike ONE RZN ball

Nike claims it’s bringing Tour technology to an amateur’s game in February with the introduction of the Nike ONE RZN and ONE RZN X golf balls.

The ONE RZN, says Nike, is suited to a wider range of players and features a softer core than is found in the Nike 20XI and is designed for extra distance and more control.

Rock Ishii, Nike product development director for golf balls, also claims the RZN mantle around the ball produces longer shots with the irons while providing a softer short game feel.

Both balls will cost around £30 a dozen and are said to deliver faster speed, more forgiveness and improved spin the Nike ONE RZN X is a little firmer - designed to deliver longer more penetrating shots when used by players with faster clubhead speeds.
