FedEx Cup: Here's where every player will start at Tour Championship

Justin Thomas has moved into the No.1 spot heading into the final event of the FedEx Cup season following an emphatic three-stroke victory at the BMW Championship.

Thomas, 26, raced to the front on Saturday evening after posting a course-record 61 at Medinah and then closed with a 68 to hold off compatriot Patrick Cantlay and seal his 10th PGA Tour title.

Tiger Woods closed with a 72 to finish tied 37th, ending his chances of progressing to East Lake.

Thomas now vaults 14 spots to first in the FedEx Cup standings heading into the final event of the year, the Tour Championship at East Lake, where a new handicap start has been brought into play for the first ever time.

The 2017 FedEx Cup winner will now start on 10-under par at the Tour Championship, with Patrick Cantlay in second on 8-under par and World No.1 Brooks Koepka in third on 7-under par.
