TopGolf launch first mobile golf range

TopGolf teed off England's inaugural mobile golf range at Golf LIVE last week.

The TestDrive mobile golf range, which fed points into a live leaderboard using TopGolf’s unique micro-chipped balls, allowed golfers to test their accuracy and distance from ten metres at London Golf Club.

Golf LIVE fans competed against other players, celebrities and professional golfers, with those with the best scores of the day walking away with TopGolf memberships and golf equipment.

“Feedback was very positive,” said TopGolf marketing manager Michael Angelides. “The technology worked perfectly, and we look forward to developing the range over the next few months.

“More than 1,000 people used TestDrive over the course of the weekend and TopGolf gave £950 to the Seve Ballesteros Foundation using cash raised from player entry.”
