WATCH: Caddie PLEADS with Ashun Wu to go back to the fairway!
The funniest, and most prudent play, of the week on the European Tour.

We've all been there. There's a gap through the trees, and 'the shot' is on. Unlike Ashun Wu and his caddie though, we aren't playing for thousands of Euros.
Wu found himself in trouble down the par-4 18th during the second round of the Nedbank Golf Challenge, and fancied his chances from outside of 200 yards of threading one through the trees and onto the green.
His caddie, however, was thinking of his pay packet come Sunday afternoon and wanted Wu to chip out sideways.
In fact, he didn't just want him to chip out sideways, he PLEADED with him to chip out sideways.
“Please go back to the fairway,” the caddie pleads, as Wu sizes up his lie and stance. "You’ll make par, worst thing’s bogey. If you don’t carry, you’re looking at 6 [double-bogey].”
Wu was unconvinced, so the caddie stepped up his game.
“Stop being crazy!" he continued. "Just go back to the fairway!"

Wu eventually chipped out (into the rough) and made a bogey-five.
The Chinese star, who captured the KLM Open, went on to finish 2-under for the week in a tie for 16th.
