TopGolf hits the target

TopGolf continues to rise in popularity across the south east. Players of all ages and abilities enjoy the chance to fire shots at specific targets each identifying distance and accuracy.

Aiming at the pin is hardly novel but charting your progress on a monitor to compile your score makes the driving range experience that more enjoyable. There are also four other games to choose from, including TopBreak, TopChip, TopShot and TopPressure.

No wonder then that Golf Entertainment International, the parent company of TopGolf, has been named one of the top 1,000 Brightest Businesses by the Daily Telegraph..

With centres in Watford, Chigwell and Addlestone, TopGolf demonstrated tremendous growth despite the economic downturn.

TopGolf’s Joe Vrankin said: “We’ve worked hard over the past few years to ensure we stand out from the crowd and build a unique product that taps into both the leisure and sports market. Evidently our consumers buy into that.”

And Amy Childs, star of ITV’s The Only Way is Essex, is a fan. The reality TV star, pictured left with TopGolf bay host Zoe Ross, visited the Chigwell branch last week, but left frustrated after losing her beloved Gucci sunglasses.
