The PGA Tour season comes to a close at the 30-man Tour Championship this week where the winner will walk away with a whopping $18 million bonus for having won the FedEx Cup.

Scottie Scheffler, who has won four times already this season, leads the way in the FedEx Cup standings and as a result he will start the Tour Championship on 10-under par in the staggered start.

Patrick Cantlay, who became the first player ever to defend a FedEx Cup Playoffs event at the BMW Championship on Sunday, is in second place on 8-under par as he goes in search of becoming the first man to defend the FedEx Cup.

Then we have Will Zalatoris starting in third place on 7-under par, as the American looks to bounce back from last week's withdrawal through injury.

Xander Schauffele is back on 6-under par, with Sam Burns on 5-under par.

LIV Golf prospect Cameron Smith and Rory McIlroy will start six shots off the pace on 4-under par.

McIlroy is bidding to become the first player to win the FedEx Cup three times (2016, 2019).
