PGA Tour stars slip HILARIOUS phrases into interviews at The Players

Some of the biggest names in golf were given a secret task by Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show to slip some seriously funny phrases into their interviews at The Players Championship last week.

Interviewers were left a little confused at TPC Sawgrass when PGA Tour stars were replying to questions with some phrases they had never heard of before and now a video has been released showing a highlight reel of the task set by Fallon.

Players that took part included World No.1 Dustin Johnson, powerhouse Bryson DeChambeau, Team Europe superstar Jon Rahm and a few more.

I'm awarding my favourite moments of the video to DeChambeau and Rahm.

"I love putting. I'm a putt putt nut nut. Can I get a what what?" was the phrase that US Open champion DeChambeau was tasked with saying and to be honest the interviewers probably thought it was just Bryson being Bryson and maybe all those protein shakes had gone to his head.

Rahm's delivery was deserving of an Oscar, after he was asked a question about the iconic 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass.

"I'm just curious to get your thoughts on the 17th, the tee shot, if it's intimidating or not?" the interviewer said to Rahm.

The Spaniard closed his eyes in a look of deep thought, shook his head and responded: "Simple truth is, we have the meats."

A cracking effort from everyone involved and well played Fallon as usual for providing some added entertainment.
