The 17-year-old has followed up his dramatic 40-foot putt with another impressive performance, helping Benjamin secure another championship title.

Charlie Woods is showing no signs of slowing down.

Just days after producing a sensational 40-foot birdie putt to clinch individual honours, Tiger Woods' 17-year-old son has been back in the winner's circle with another impressive display for Benjamin High School.

This time, Charlie Woods helped the Buccaneers secure regional championship honours in Florida, carding a 1-under 70 at Miami Shores Country Club as his team edged a familiar rival in a dramatic finish.

Woods shared Benjamin's lowest individual score with teammate Brooks Colton, with the pair playing important roles in a closely contested championship.

Benjamin finished the day on 1-under 283, tying with fellow Palm Beach County school Oxbridge Academy after 18 holes.

That left the two rivals heading into a sudden-death playoff to decide the regional champions, with Benjamin ultimately coming out on top to add another trophy to its growing collection.

It represents another significant achievement for Charlie and his teammates, who have enjoyed an impressive autumn campaign.

And with the Florida high school postseason gathering pace, the teenager is continuing to provide plenty of reasons for golf fans to keep an eye on his progress.

Here's a look at the final scores.

Charlie Woods follows up incredible finish

Monday's performance came just a week after Charlie produced one of the most memorable moments of his young golfing career.

Competing at the Class 1A-District 14 Championship at Champions Club at Summerfield in Stuart, Florida, Woods rolled in a remarkable 40-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to claim the individual title by a single shot.

He carded a 2-under 69, with that spectacular finish proving the difference as he held off the chasing pack.

His contribution also helped Benjamin secure the team championship, with the Buccaneers finishing 15 shots clear of runners-up Oxbridge Academy.

Benjamin coach Toby Harbeck was particularly pleased with the performances of his leading players, with Woods and Colton producing the two lowest scores for the school.

The latest regional success suggests that momentum has continued, with Woods once again delivering when his team needed him.

His round at Miami Shores featured three birdies and three bogeys, beginning with a gain at the first before another birdie arrived at the fourth.

Bogeys at the fifth and ninth meant he reached the turn level par, but he responded with consecutive birdies at the 12th and 13th.

A further bogey at the 15th saw him finish at 1-under, enough to share seventh place in the individual standings.

Colton also carded a 70, while the lowest individual score belonged to Charlie Sundermeier of St. John Paul II Academy, who produced a superb 7-under-par 64.

Reflecting on the tight battle between Benjamin and Oxbridge, Harbeck told the Palm Beach Post: "We hung in there. We hit a lot of pars. When the smoke cleared, we were there on top."

He added that the two schools had been trading blows throughout the day, with the teams separated by just one shot for much of the competition.

Charlie is building towards college golf

Being the son of a 15-time major champion inevitably brings considerable attention, but Charlie is increasingly giving golf fans reasons to focus on his own achievements.

The teenager has enjoyed an impressive autumn with Benjamin, helping the Buccaneers win the Palm League Championship in September before adding district and regional honours to their collection.

At the Palm League Championship, he carded an even-par 71 at Biltmore Golf Course in Miami, finishing eighth individually as Benjamin rallied on the back nine to secure the team title.

His development is also attracting attention away from the high school circuit.

Charlie has committed to Florida State University, where he is scheduled to begin his collegiate golf career next autumn.

He has also secured his first name, image and likeness agreement with TaylorMade, the equipment manufacturer supplying his driver, fairway woods, irons, wedges and golf balls.

With college golf approaching, his latest performances offer further encouragement as he prepares for the next stage of his career.

Tiger's return remains a major talking point

While Charlie continues to make headlines of his own, attention surrounding his father has understandably not gone away.

Tiger has not competed since missing the cut at The Open Championship in July 2024, with back surgery last October and a car crash earlier this year in March complicating his hopes of returning to competitive golf.

There are potential opportunities on the horizon though, including the upcoming TGL season and December's PNC Championship, where he could potentially team up with Charlie.

However, neither appearance should be taken as confirmed.

For now, it is Charlie who is enjoying the competitive spotlight.

And after two championship-winning performances in consecutive weeks, the teenager is giving Tiger plenty of reasons to be proud.
