Collin Morikawa says he's playing so badly at the moment he's unlikely to feature in the next series of the Netflix documentary Full Swing.

Morikawa is back in action on the PGA Tour this week and is making his tournament debut at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit.

The two-time major champion hasn't won this season which is sounding the alarm bells for the 26-year-old.

There's only one major left to contend for and six weeks left of the regular season before the FedEx Cup playoffs.

Morikawa has missed five cuts this season and his best finish has been when he placed second at the Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.

The golfer sounded pretty downbeat about his season in his pre-tournament news conference.

Asked to sum up his year so far, Morikawa said:

"I mean, frustrating, frustrating's a word I can use. Look, it all comes down to just winning. You can miss 20 cuts and have two wins. And I'd love to win. It's not the consistency I'd want, but you get my point. Winning to me is everything.
"You've got to learn how to close, you've got to be able to do it. It sucked at Memorial because obviously I hurt myself and I was two back. Being two back at that course, you make one birdie in the first four holes, you might be tied for the lead, right?
"So it's just putting myself in contention, giving myself three days of good golf to get there to Sunday to be in contention, right? I've kind of put myself behind the eight-ball recently playing some bad first rounds, trying to climb back up second, third, fourth round. It's hard to win tournaments like that."

Morikawa said 'this year hasn't been great' but he's not going to give up.

The aforementioned Full Swing has been renewed for a second season. The cameras are following Morikawa but he's unsure if he will be involved.

He said:

"They're following a bunch of guys. Who knows what stories they're going to put up. I think I've got to start winning for them to put me back in that, so we'll see."

If there's one man we know who won't be watching the second season of Full Swing it's Sir Nick Faldo

Faldo is in England hosting the British Masters on the DP World Tour

The Hall of Famer has taken the time this week to tear apart LIV Golf saying 'nobody's interested', defend Rory McIlroy and then provide this hilarious answer about his thoughts on the documentary.
