Full Biography

Jackson Koivun is one of the brightest young talents in golf and among the most decorated collegiate players in NCAA history. 

The 21-year-old American, born in San Jose, California, and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, starred at Auburn University before turning professional in June 2026 after earning a PGA Tour card through the PGA Tour University Accelerated programme.

Koivun won two NCAA team championships with Auburn and became the first golfer to sweep the Ben Hogan Award, Jack Nicklaus Award and Fred Haskins Award twice.

He was also a three-time SEC Player of the Year and claimed a record three consecutive SEC individual titles. 

In 2025, he received the Mark H. McCormack Medal as the world's top-ranked amateur. 

Even before turning professional, Koivun impressed against PGA Tour fields with multiple top-10 finishes, cementing his reputation as one of the most accomplished amateur golfers of his generation and a rising star to watch.
