V-Lite Splash

If you’re looking for golf shoes that are comfortable, do the job in wet underfoot conditions and don’t break the bank, then look no further than the Hi Tec V-Lite splash.

While they might not look the most awe-inspiring strides on the market, the cleated waterproof V-Lite Splash, as its name suggests, is extremely lightweight at just 256g.

In fact, I would go as far to say they are the lightest pair of shoes I’ve slipped on for some time. And no blisters on a new pair of shoes? That has to be a first!

Made from Ethylene vinyl acetate, the V-Lite Splash also provided me with 100% waterproofing as I trudged down the sodden fairways following torrential overnight rain, as well as maximum grip with its Champ Stinger III cleats, featuring Q-Lok receptors for ultimate traction and balance.

Another feature of the shoe, much to mother’s delight, is its anti-bacterial sock liner - an accessory that eliminates foot odour. Take out the liner, cleanse with water, dry and then off you go again.

And at a recession-busting £35, they would even have David Dickinson jumping for joy.
