The GolfBuddy Aim L10V Laser Rangefinder has raised eyebrows as the world's first talking laser rangefinder, but that's not why we love it.

The GolfBuddy Aim L10V laser rangefinder is the first product of its kind that can talk to you. It may be the headline feature, but it's not the reason we love it.

Many people prefer using laser rangefinders over GPS devices due to the high level of accuracy they provide. The reason? Laser rangefinders measure distance, whereas GPS devices collect yardages based on geographical location.

GolfMagic took the Aim L10V down to Farleigh Golf Club to give it a try.

Should you buy the GolfBuddy Aim L10V laser rangefinder?

I can see why some people will like it, but the responsive audio feature isn't what makes this product stand out.

The accuracy of the rangefinder and the use of slope mode are what makes this rangefinder a great product. Being able to take the slopes into account really gives you a better understanding of how they affect yardages.

I like how the Aim L10V turns off after 15 seconds without use, as this makes the battery life phenomenal and it powers up again in a matter of seconds.

The three different modes available makes the Aim L10V one of the best laser rangefinders on the market.
