South Africa's Jayden Schaper won his second DP World Tour event in as many weeks at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.

The 24-year-old started the final round trailing the leader by two shots but posted a 64 on Sunday to reach 22-under par.

It saw Schaper lock horns in a play-off with Ryan Gerard after the American got up-and-down on the final hole to force extra holes.

Neither player could be separated on the first extra hole of sudden death, but Shaper then holed out for eagle to grab the win.

It was his second victory in as many weeks, following on from his play-off success at the Alfred Dunhill Championship.

Shaper was reduced to tears and told media he could not believe he has now won twice in two weeks given that he waited five years for his maiden win.

The only consolation for Gerard came from the fact that he will finish the year inside the top 50 of the world rankings and has qualified for the 2025 Masters

Casey Jarvis, Andreas Halvorsen, Zander Lombard, Manuel Elvira, Alexander Levy and last year's winner - John Parry - finished inside the top-10.

Shaper also took home his fair share of prize money. The 2025 edition of the tournament carried a total purse of €1m.

That means Shaper takes home the top prize of €174,065.24.
