The DP World Tour has confirmed the Alfred Dunhill Championship will now be a 54-hole event due to bad weather.

Sunday's third and final round will get underway in a two-tee start at 6.30am local time.

"Play has been abandoned for the day and will restart on Sunday at 06:30 local time," read a statement from the DP World Tour after rain waterlogged the course at Royal Johannesburg Club in South Africa.

Half the field managed to tee off in round three on Saturday, but groups only managed a few holes.

The leading groups have yet to tee off.

In another big update and as a result of the course conditions, the 6th hole will now play as a par 3 instead of a par 5 and will measure at 177 yards.

As it stands, Spain's Eugenio Chacarra leads by two shots over home favourite Jayden Schaper.

Chacarra finds himself at 15-under par after rounds of 63 and 66.

England's John Parry and another home favourite Branden Grace are also in the hunt just three shots back at 12-under par.

The Alfred Dunhill Championship marks the third event of the new 2026 DP World Tour season.

David Puig and Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen won the first two tournaments over in Australia.
