DP World Tour pro James Morrison has been praised for delivering a brutally honest interview after the final round of the Dubai Desert Classic.

Tour pro lauded for the most honest interview you will ever see:

James Morrison has been heralded on social media after the English tour pro delivered one of the most brutally honest post-round interviews you will likely ever see.

Much of the attention during the Dubai Desert Classic was on the world number two, Rory McIlroy, who successfully won the event on the DP World Tour for a record fourth time.

At the other end of the leaderboard, however, was Morrison.

The 38-year-old has two wins on the circuit and appears to be under no allusion he will never possess the otherworldly talents like McIlroy

Morrison, from England, finished T-56 at Emirates Golf Club after rounds of 70, 72, 72 and 76.

It was only the third time he has made the cut in 13 attempts so there was some reason for Morrison to be positive.

Although he didn't see it that way. Far from it, in fact.

During a Big Brother style interview with an AI robot asking questions, Morrison didn't hold back on how he was feeling.

"Like s---," he replied after carding a 4-over 76.

So what was so bad?

He said: "All of it. F---. That was the [third] time I've made the cut here in [13] years, so I must be happy to make the cut, but when you play like that [on Sunday] at four-over par - so so so so poor. I looked like a seven-handicapper, on a good day.

"I guess, back to reality because I actually felt like a golfer on the first two days, but then reality set it.

"I'm not, I'm just s**t. I should've worked harder at school! Dad, sorry for wasting money on my education.

"I should have worked a lot, lot harder at school, and then I wouldn't be sitting in this chair right now."

When asked if there were any positives, he replied: "I fly on the BA flight home tonight would be the only positive.

"If you watch guys like Rory [McIlroy] and those guys, they make the game look so easy.

"And, actually, the game is f---ing impossible, absolutely impossible for the mere mortal."

Before he departed the interview, he joked that if 'anybody wants to employ an overweight golfer' then they should give him a call.

ASAP.

If there was one thing to be gleaned from this interview, it's that there is hope for us all.

Thank you, James.
