Sky Sport secures LIV Golf and Asian Tour rights from 2026
Sky Sport secures extensive live broadcast rights to LIV Golf and the Asian Tour, becoming Germany’s No. 1 golf provider.
Sky has pulled off a major broadcasting coup — snapping up extensive live rights to LIV Golf and the Asian Tour and crowning itself Germany’s undisputed No. 1 home of golf.
From 2026, Sky Sport will show every LIV Golf event live, alongside the biggest tournaments from the Asian Tour, across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The new deal, which comes 24 hours after TNT Sports secured LIV Golf rights for UK and Ireland fans, will deliver at least 30 live events a year and nearly 600 hours of live golf on Sky Sport.

LIV Golf’s globe-trotting, high-octane league will bring 14 blockbuster events across 10 countries and five continents to Sky viewers, including a historic first-ever stop in South Africa from 19-22 March.
The action tees off earlier, though, with ROSHN Group LIV Golf Riyadh live from Saudi Arabia from 4-7 February.
Before the main season even begins, Sky Sport is going live with the LIV Golf Promotions event from January 9–11 at Black Diamond Ranch in Florida — where nearly 80 players battle for just three golden wildcard spots in the 2026 league.
Fans can follow Ryder Cup heroes Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton, Masters champions Sergio García, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed and Phil Mickelson, plus a new wave of global talent including Joaquin Niemann, Tom McKibbin and David Puig.
For German fans, there’s also wall-to-wall coverage of two-time major champion Martin Kaymer, live and exclusive.

LIV Golf’s format promises fast-paced action, with shotgun starts, team and individual battles, and all the drama wrapped up in a four-to-five-hour broadcast window — meaning more live golf, less waiting around.
There’s also real jeopardy. LIV’s promotion and relegation system keeps the pressure on all season long, while the Asian Tour’s International Series offers a direct pathway into the league.
Hans Gabbe, Senior Vice President Sports Rights & Commercialisation at Sky Deutschland, said:
“With long-term exclusive rights to all four men’s majors, comprehensive coverage of the most significant women’s events, and the addition of the LIV Golf League and the Asian Tour, Sky Sport Golf will continue to be the leading destination for golf fans in Germany. LIV Golf’s global schedule and distinctive team and individual competition format offer fans access to the world’s leading, legendary, and emerging golf stars across iconic venues and diverse international markets. In the year ahead, our customers can look forward to innovatively produced events and engagement with many of the world’s most compelling players.”
All coverage will be available on Sky Stream with the Sky Sport package, and via WOW for flexible streaming — putting elite golf within easy reach for fans across the region.
