LIV Golf's Cameron Smith puts 2026 Masters field on notice: "More than anyone else does"
LIV Golf's Cameron Smith says his game feels great ahead of the first men's major of the year at Augusta National.

Cameron Smith says he wants to win another major championship "more than anyone else does".
The 32-year-old claimed the landmark 150th Open Championship at St Andrews four years ago.
He produced one of the great final rounds in major history with a stunning 64 on the Old Course to chase down Rory McIlroy and break the Northern Irishman's heart.
Smith made the switch to LIV Golf one month after capturing the Claret Jug and in truth has struggled to truly put himself in the mix to add to his haul.
The Australian has two top-10 finishes in the majors since joining the PIF-backed breakaway and, ahead of LIV Golf's stop in South Africa, admitted that the wait is starting to linger.
"I mean, I want to win another one," Smith said. "I want to win another one more than anyone else does.
"That's what we do the work for. It's an extremely gratifying time in your life and something that you can't take for granted.
"Yeah, I want to be up there holding another trophy. It's been a couple of years for me, even out here."
Smith was alluding to the fact he hasn't won an individual LIV Golf event since July 2023.
He added: "But like I said, I feel like my game is in a really, really good spot.
"I'm starting to feel really confident, and I'm starting to feel at ease with different shots and just kind of letting go a little bit.
"I feel like I'm in really good stead for majors season."
The 2025 major season was extremely forgettable for the Ripper captain.
Smith missed cuts in all four major championships and later told of how he "played better than what I've scored".
After he major season, he went through a stretch of missing seven consecutive OWGR-sanctioned tournaments.
And he now has pinpointed the problem.

"I just need to get out of my own way," he said.
"I feel like I'm a little bit in my head at the moment, something that I've been working on.
"My game, though, feels great. I go to the range. I go to the chipping green.
"I go to the putting green, and I almost feel like, what am I doing here, I just want to go play, hit different shots, and like I said, just kind of get out of my own way.
"[I am] feeling good. Last week was really good. That's a really tough test, hot, pretty physically painful out there, and a really tough golf course, as well. Game is trending in the right direction."
