Bryson DeChambeau looks set to double down on his LIV Golf future, with fresh reports revealing the Crushers GC captain is in advanced talks to renew his contract early — despite already being tied to the breakaway league until the end of 2026.

The news first surfaced via respected insider account Flushing It on X (Twitter), claiming multiple sources have confirmed discussions are underway between DeChambeau and LIV Golf to sign a new deal before the 2026 season opener in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from February 5–7.

DeChambeau, 32, originally jumped ship to LIV in 2022, signing a mammoth deal believed to be worth around $125 million

Since then, the two-time major champion has become not just one of the league’s star performers, but arguably its most valuable showman.

Over the past two years, DeChambeau’s name has been plastered all over the leaderboard — and all over the internet.

Three individual LIV titles, a 2023 Team Championship win with Crushers GC, and that record-breaking weekend of 61–58 at Greenbrier have cemented his spot as a cornerstone of the Saudi-backed series.

And then there’s the influence game.

DeChambeau has grown into golf’s biggest digital personality, turning his Break 50 YouTube series into must-watch entertainment. With 2.5 million YouTube subscribers and 4.2 million Instagram followers — that’s half a million more than Tiger Woods, by the way — DeChambeau has built an audience that stretches far beyond the fairways.

He’s filmed with Tom Brady, Stephen Curry, Adam Sandler, and even Donald Trump, showing a side of professional golf rarely seen before.

Whether he’s bombing 400-yard drives, trying to make a hole-in-one over his house (seriously), or chasing the next viral challenge, DeChambeau has become the ultimate golf entertainer.

LIV keen to lock down its biggest draw

DeChambeau’s current contract runs through 2026, but the fact LIV Golf is already pushing for an early renewal says everything about his importance to the league.

LIV bosses confirmed earlier this season that no new deals will include upfront signing fees — instead, players now rely on massive event purses where $4 million is on the line for individual winners.

But captains like DeChambeau still cash in via ownership stakes in their teams, and those franchise rights are becoming increasingly valuable.

Crushers GC, DeChambeau’s powerhouse squad, isn’t expected to change much heading into 2026.

Paul Casey, Charles Howell III, and Anirban Lahiri have all agreed fresh terms to stay with the team — a clear sign that DeChambeau’s leadership and vision remain central to the LIV project.

If and when DeChambeau’s new deal is finalised, he’ll follow Dustin Johnson in renewing early — a move that strengthens the league’s stability heading into its fourth full season.

A massive asset — on and off the course

It’s no exaggeration to say DeChambeau has become LIV Golf’s most influential figure.

While Jon Rahm may have commanded the biggest signing cheque ($300m+) and Joaquin Niemann boasts the most individual wins, DeChambeau brings something neither of them can match — reach.

He’s one of the few players who’s transcended the ongoing PGA Tour–LIV divide, with many fans warming to his open personality and newfound self-awareness since his move to the rival league.

Once a polarising figure, he’s now become one of the sport’s most popular personalities — even among PGA Tour loyalists who can’t watch him play.

After winning his second U.S. Open title in 2024 and adding another LIV win in Korea this year, DeChambeau’s resurgence has been impossible to ignore.

Combine that with his growing status as a content creator, and it’s no wonder LIV are desperate to keep him in the fold.

What’s next for Bryson and Crushers GC?

The Crushers will be gunning to make history in 2026 as the first team to win multiple LIV Golf Team Championships, after finishing runners-up to Rahm’s Legion XIII this year.

DeChambeau also has his eyes on the one LIV title missing from his trophy cabinet — the Individual Championship crown.

As for a PGA Tour return? Don’t count on it. Despite his suspension, DeChambeau’s career has arguably never been stronger.

LIV Golf may have started as the rebel league, but for Bryson, it’s now home — and it looks like he’s planning to stay for the long haul.
