AIG Women’s Open 2026 field confirmed as 13 players qualify at St Annes Old Links
The full field for the 2026 AIG Women's Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes is confirmed after Monday's Final Qualifying.
The field for this week's AIG Women’s Open is now complete after 13 players secured their places through Final Qualifying at St Annes Old Links on Monday.
The 50th edition of the championship, which gets underway on Thursday, will feature a world-class line-up at Royal Lytham & St Annes.
A host of major champions, LPGA stars and emerging talents are set to compete on one of golf's most famous links courses for one of women’s golf’s biggest prizes.
Leading the field is Nelly Korda, who arrives as the red-hot tournament favourite following a remarkable season that has already delivered four LPGA victories, including two major wins.
Korda will be joined by a host of leading contenders, including Haeran Ryu, who heads to Lancashire in sensational form after winning the last two majors of the season, while England’s Charley Hull and Lottie Woad will look to claim their maiden major titles in front of home support.
The final places in the championship field were decided at St Annes Old Links on Monday, where England’s Bel Wardle and Belgium’s Manon De Roey shared medalist honours after impressive rounds of 4-under-par 68.
Five more players automatically progressed after finishing on 3-under-par 69, before a dramatic playoff decided the remaining six qualifying positions.
Anna Foster, Chloe Williams, Polly Mack, Ana Pelaez Trivino, Amanda Doherty and Jodi Ewart Shadoff all emerged from the playoff to complete the 13-player qualifying contingent.
Sweden’s Ingrid Lindblad, Norway’s Dorothea Forbrigd and Denmark’s Cecilie Finne-Ipsen finished just outside the qualifying places and will serve as the first three reserves.
The prize fund for the 2026 AIG Women's Open is a record $10 million, an increase of $250,000 on 2025.
