Daniel Berger will take a slender one-shot lead into the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, setting up an intriguing Sunday showdown with Akshay Bhatia.
The third round was forced to finish early on Sunday morning after play was suspended on Saturday due to fading light, and Berger saw his three-shot lead trimmed to just one shot with 18 holes to play at famed Bay Hill Club & Lodge. There was a two-shot swing on the 18th as Bhatia made birdie from 12 feet and Berger missed his par attempt from nine feet.
Berger has led since the opening round and will head out in the final group alongside Bhatia at 1:50 PM local time, with a host of big names — including Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, and Ludvig Åberg — still within striking distance.
Live coverage of the final round begins with Golf Central Pregame at 11:30 AM, before tournament coverage starts at 12:30 PM on Golf Channel and switches to NBC and Peacock later in the afternoon.
