Arnold Palmer Invitational field 2026: Who is playing at Bay Hill?

The PGA Tour's March calendar kicks off at famed Bay Hill with the Arnold Palmer Invitational. 

The tournament is the third signature event of the 2026, bringing a 72-player field that features world number one Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood. 

Collin Morikawa claimed the first signature event at Pebble Beach and Jacob Bridgeman won the second last week at the Genesis Invitational. 

Scheffler has had an interesting start to the season. It was business as usual as he claimed victory on his first start of the calendar year at The American Express. 

But in every single tournament since has made slow and uncharacteristic starts. 

At the Genesis Invitational last week, Scheffler finished in a share of 12th. It snapped his streak of 18 consecutive finishes in the top-10. 

McIlroy has also started his season slowly but was satisfied that things are moving in the right direction after finishing second to Bridgeman at Riviera Country Club. 

Northern Ireland's McIlroy last won the Arnold Palmer Invitational in 2018, finishing three shots clear of Bryson DeChambeau. The victory also ended a winless drought of 18 months. 

The PGA Tour confirmed the full field for the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational on Friday. 

Players are still eligible to qualify via the Aon Swing 10 and Aon Swing 5 and top 30 in the Official World Golf Ranking. 

America's Russell Henley is the defending champion of the Arnold Palmer Invitational. 

South Africa's Aldrich Potgieter, University of Texas sophomore Daniel Bennett, Billy Horschel and Chris Kirk have received sponsor exemptions. 

Wyndham Clark, Joel Dahmen and Kieth Mitchell are among the alternates.
