Cameron Young splits with caddie ahead of 2024 PGA Tour season

Cameron Young has split with caddie Paul Tesori after just 10 months working together on the PGA Tour.

Tesori confirmed the news to Golfweek and will now join three-time PGA Tour winner Brendon Todd, 38.

Todd set one of the dullest records of all time on the PGA Tour last season!

It remains unknown as to who will caddie for Young, who has yet to win on the PGA Tour.

Young, 26, has however finished second at The Open (2022) and tied third at the US PGA (2022).

Tesori, who formely spent 12 years on the bag of former US Open champion Webb Simpson, joined Young's bag in March at the 2022 WGC Dell Match Play.

While the reason for their split has not yet been made official, one user on X has tweeted "Tesori was fired".

Todd's former caddie David Clark has now joined the bag of Ian Poulter ahead of the 2024 LIV Golf League season.

The latest news marks yet another high-profile split ahead of the new season.

Rising golf star Ludvig Aberg nabbed Rickie Fowler's former caddie Joe Skovron earlier this month.

Skovron is known for his 13-year affiliation with Fowler before the duo amicably parted ways last year.

Clarke was on the bag when Aberg turned professional in June 2023. He is married to LPGA Tour star Madelene Sagstrom.

Aberg's ex caddie was "shocked" by the call.

Skovron was previously on the bag of PGA Tour star Tom Kim.

According to Golfweek, Kim will now have Daniel Parratt on the bag for the 2024 season.

Parratt was formerly on the bag of Kim's compatriot KH Lee.
