Golf fans are reacting to PGA Tour pro Keith Mitchell's unbuttoned golf shirt look in the opening round of the Cognizant Classic at The Palm Beaches.

Mitchell, 32, is having a solid start to the tournament at 3-under par as he goes in search of his second career title on the PGA Tour.

The American picked up his sole PGA Tour title to date at this event in 2019 back when it was known as the Honda Classic.

Rory McIlroy is also out on the course and he too is off to a solid start at 4-under par.

Chad Ramey leads at 7-under par.

Mitchell opted to un-do his top three buttons on his golf shirt, and it blew some people's minds on Twitter during the first round.

Paige Spiranac could not resist getting involved in the subject!

Here's how golf fans are reacting:

The amount of buttons on Keith Mitchell’s polo is blowing my mind

It’s giving greased lightnin'

We need Harry Higgs in one of these shirts!

Did he shave his chest just to wear this shirt?

Majestic from Mitchell

Deep V for victory

Peak male performance

Wonder what Paige Spiranac makes of this?!

My hero!

Mitchell's shirt and personality perfectly depict the duality of man. An insane fight right there #PGATour I love it

At that point, thats basically a short sleeve pullover quarter button

Peter Andre vibes from Keith today!

Maybe they originally designed it as a short sleeve button up but, inflation and product shortages lead to the inability to get enough buttons so they pivoted in order to have sales.

Well now I have to replace all of my 150 golf polos

The amount not buttoned is more wrong

But shorts aren’t allowed…
