PGA Tour fans rip into Shane Lowry after shunning little girl at Truist Championship
PGA Tour fans criticise Shane Lowry after he left a little girl hanging during the final round of the Truist Championship at Philly Cricket Club.

Shane Lowry has come under fire by a large number of PGA Tour fans after he was seen leaving a little girl hanging as he made his way to the 16th tee during the final round of the Truist Championship.
Lowry, 38, had just made birdie on the 15th to remain in a tie for the lead with his final-round playing partner and European Ryder Cup teammate Sepp Straka.
As the 2019 Open champion trudged off the back of the green and up some steps, a little girl was seen waiting for him with her hand out at the top of the stairs.
But Lowry walked straight past her.
The video clip of Lowry shunning the little girl, which you can watch below, appeared to anger a lot of PGA Tour fans on social media.
While Tour pros are not obligated to engage with spectators, no matter how young or old they are, the majority of PGA Tour fans believe it wouldn't have taken much for Lowry to have just left his hand out for the girl who had been waiting for him.
As it turned out, Lowry went on to make a bogey on the par-3 16th and it would prove pivotal as Straka moved into a one-shot lead.
Lowry faced a 25-footer to force extra holes on the par-4 18th but his birdie attempt sailed seven feet past the cup.
If truth be told, it was one of the worst putts of his career since it never even threatened.
Lowry then missed the return to finish in a tie for second and two shots behind Straka, who collected his second title of the season and fourth of his career on the PGA Tour.
A deflated Lowry congratulated Straka on the win but he then stormed out of Philadelphia Cricket Club without speaking to the media.
