Vanessa Trump is reportedly at breaking point in her relationship with Tiger Woods following his car crash and DUI arrest in Florida — an incident that unfolded just minutes from his home.

Woods, 50, was arrested on Friday 27 March after crashing his Range Rover SUV, with Martin County Police confirming he clipped a truck while travelling at a “high rate of speed”.

Despite returning “triple zeros” on a breathalyser, according to Sheriff John Budensiek, Woods was charged with driving under the influence, property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.

A subsequent police report also stated the 15-time major champion had two hydrocodone pills — an opioid painkiller — in his possession at the time.

Woods was detained for eight hours before being released on bail.

The golf legend pleaded not guilty on Tuesday 31 March.

Woods' court hearing is scheduled for Thursday 23 April, though he reportedly will not be required to attend.

Vanessa disappointed in Tiger

While the incident has cast doubt over Woods’ immediate golf future, it is the strain on his personal life that appears most significant.

Vanessa Trump — who has been dating Woods since late 2024 following her divorce from Donald Trump Jr. — is said to be deeply frustrated by the situation.

A source previously told PEOPLE that she remained supportive after the crash.

However, a separate insider has since painted a far more strained picture of the relationship.

Speaking to The Sun, the source claimed Vanessa is “tired of the ups and downs”.

“Vanessa tries to lift him up, but she also feels like she’s carrying the weight of his ambitions almost alone,” the source said.

“When he’s in a bad mood — which happens often — he can be very difficult to be around.

“She’s told him directly that she’s not Elin or Lindsey Vonn — she won’t be as patient if he doesn’t get his act together quickly. If things don’t change, she’s prepared to walk away in the coming months.

“This is the last chance. She’s given him an ultimatum: either he changes and gets his life under control, or she’s gone for good.

“She’s exhausted, disappointed and keeps telling him to stop acting like a teenager, grow up, take responsibility, become emotionally stable and stay out of trouble.”

Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr. share five children together

One of their daughters is Kai Trump, an aspiring golfer who got a chance to compete in her first LPGA event in 2025.

Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr. were married 2005 until they filed for divorce in 2018.

Breaking his silence on Tuesday, Woods confirmed he will now step away for a period of time to focus on his health and recovery.

“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” Woods posted in a graphic on X.

“I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritise my wellbeing and work towards lasting recovery.”

The decision rules him out of next week’s Masters at Augusta National, where he had been expected to compete.

He will also miss the traditional Champions Dinner, confirmed Augusta National chairman Fred Ridley.

Both Augusta National, PGA Tour and TGR Foundation have all posted messages of support for Woods as he seeks treatment.

TMZ claims Woods has been granted permission by the court to seek treatment outside of the United States as as result of privary concerns.

Friday’s crash is the latest in a series of driving-related incidents involving Woods over the past two decades.

In 2009, Woods crashed his vehicle outside his Florida home, striking a fire hydrant, a tree and several hedges.

That incident came amid intense scrutiny of his personal life and reports of extramarital affairs, shortly before his divorce from Elin Nordegren was finalised in 2010.

He was also involved in another high-profile incident in 2017, when police found him asleep at the wheel of his parked Mercedes-Benz, again close to his Florida residence.

A toxicology report later revealed multiple prescription medications in his system, along with the active ingredient found in marijuana.

Woods subsequently admitted to a lesser charge of reckless driving and was sentenced to a year’s probation.

In February 2021, Woods suffered the most serious crash of his career in Los Angeles, sustaining severe injuries to his right leg. Doctors at one stage considered amputation following the accident.

Remarkably, he returned to major championship golf just 14 months later at the 2022 Masters, though his schedule has remained limited since due to ongoing fitness struggles.

Woods' last competitive tournament came when missing the cut at The Open at Royal Troon in July 2024.

More recently, Woods ruptured his left Achilles tendon last March and underwent further back surgery in October.

He had been competing in the indoor TGL earlier this month and had expressed a strong desire to feature at next week’s Masters — plans that have now been shelved following his latest arrest.

With his career on pause and his relationship under strain, the coming weeks and months could prove pivotal both personally and professionally for arguably the greatest golfer that has ever lived.
