Tiger Woods made a low-profile appearance at Kai Trump’s graduation ceremony in Florida on Friday, arriving late and leaving early as the golf icon continued to keep out of the spotlight.

According to Page Six, Woods, 50, attended the ceremony at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens to support Kai, the daughter of his girlfriend Vanessa Trump

Vanessa has reportedly been dating Woods for nearly two years.

The 15-time major champion reportedly arrived around 15 minutes after the ceremony began and left roughly 20 minutes before it ended, prompting plenty of attention during the high-profile graduation weekend.

Woods did not attend the private family dinner that followed at Blackbird restaurant, where Kai celebrated alongside her parents Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr.

Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr. officially split in 2018. Vanessa filed for an uncontested divorce in March 2018, and the separation was finalized by the end of that year.

Woods' decision to skip the more public family gathering appeared deliberate as he continues to manage increased scrutiny surrounding his personal life.

Earlier this week, Woods returned to Florida after completing a six-week treatment program in Switzerland following a DUI arrest and car crash

It's been reported that Woods took the process seriously and was happy to reunite with his girlfriend Vanessa, who has supported him throughout this difficult period.

Against that backdrop, Woods’ brief appearance at Kai’s graduation allowed him to show support without becoming the centre of attention.

Kai, grand child of U.S. President Donald Trump, now turns her focus toward the next chapter of her golf journey after graduating ahead of her move to the University of Miami, where she is expected to play collegiate golf.

The 19-year-old has already built a growing profile in the game through social media, tournament appearances and her LPGA Tour debut at The Annika last season.

Kai struggled during that appearance, missing the cut after rounds left her 18-over par in the 108-player field, but she remains one of the most talked-about young personalities connected to the sport.

At the graduation dinner, Kai wore a white mini dress with silver heels as the family celebrated with cakes and sparklers.

For Woods, the appearance marked another carefully managed public outing during a turbulent period away from golf.

The former world number one, who shares children Samantha and Charlie with ex-wife Elin Nordegren, kept his role limited throughout the weekend.

He showed up for Kai’s milestone moment, offered his support and quietly disappeared before the spotlight could fully shift in his direction.

Woods has put no official timeline on his return to competitive golf.

The joint-record 82-time PGA Tour winner has not played in an individual tournament since missing the cut at The Open at Royal Troon in July 2024.
