Tour Championship: Tearful Tommy Fleetwood lets it all out after claiming first PGA Tour win

Fleetwood makes par after hitting an underwhelming wedge into the 3rd green. 

Cantlay claws one back. 

Scheffler -12 (5*)

Scottie Scheffler is in a bit of trouble over at the 5th. 

Playing from the rough, Scheffler's approach takes a firm bounce on the green and trundles into the bunker.

Scottie Scheffler plays it safe to the 4th green and settles for par. 

Young gets his first birdie of the day from 11 feet.

Fleetwood -17, Cantlay -13 (2)

Fleetwood finds the middle of the cup at the 2nd to move two clear at the summit. 

It's a complete disaster for Patrick Cantlay, though, who takes four putts to get down. It's a double. 

R. Henley -15 (3)

Russell Henley is fantastic on the greens. 

A 13-foot birdie putt drops at the third and he inches closer to Tommy Fleetwood. 

Scheffler 12 (4*)

Scottie Scheffler's feet are all over the place, which can only mean one thing - he's hitting driver. 

The 29-year-old hits a booming, 321-yard drive down the 4th to set up another good chance. 

Cantlay -15, Fleetwood -16 (2*)

Tommy Fleetwood sends a towering iron shot in the 2nd green. It's pin high. About 20 feet for birdie. 

Cantlay, on the other hand, has plenty of work to do to save his par. 

His golf ball trickles back down towards the greenside bunker. 

Interesting... 

Henley -14, Bradley -13 (2)

Henley and Bradley walk away with pars at the 2nd. 

Cantlay -15, Fleetwood -16 (1)

Tommy Fleetwood is safely in for his par. 

Cantlay, meanwhile, has a down the hill slider from about 30 feet to save his par. 

It's a good effort, but dives low at the last minute. 

The lead is one... 

Scheffler -12, Young -10 (3)

Scottie Scheffler makes amends for the opening bogey with a three at the 3rd...

Cantlay -16, Fleetwood -16 (1*)

Fleetwood has a 6-iron in his hands over at the 1st and is a touch shy with his approach. 

That should be a straight forward up-and-down for par, but it's not what he wanted. 

Cantlay is forced to lay up and has to get down in two from 99 yards to prevent dropping a shot right out of the gate.

Scottie Scheffler is dangerous with a wedge in his hands, isn't he?

That's an absolute dart at the 3rd. 

Young also has a great look at birdie.

Both players find the fairway with their tee shots at the 3rd. 

The pin is tucked at the back left today, with plenty of room right. 

Birdie chances incoming?

Henley -14, Bradley -13 (1)

Bradley scares the cup with his birdie putt from long range, but it stops short. Easy par. 

Henley also goes close, but settles for par. 

Cantlay -16, Fleetwood -16 (1*)

Patrick Cantlay is up first - and it's not an ideal start. The American's golf ball drifts into the right rough. 

Fleetwood receives a warm reception. What can he muster?

He reaches for his tee quickly. It's an absolute rocket. Straight down the middle. 

Perfect start. 

Scheffler -11, Young -10 (2)

Scottie Scheffler watches his tee shot at the par-3 2nd drift off to the lower level of the green. 

He leaves himself plenty of work to do to save his par from 10 feet, but is up to the task. 

Young also makes par. 

Tommy Fleetwood and Patrick Cantlay are making their way to the 1st tee box.

This is the third time this season Fleetwood has held the lead/co-lead after 54 holes - and he has stumbled on every occasion. 

Will today finally be Tommy's time?

How often have we seen that from Scheffler?

The World No.1 stuffs his approach - his fourth shot - inside three feet at the 1st. That's an impressive bogey. 

Young is in for par. 

Henley -14, Bradley -13 (1*)

The U.S. Ryder Cup captain splits the fairway at the par-4 1st. Likewise his playing partner. 

It's a big day for both Ryder Cup teams. 

Over at The Belfry in England, Rasmus Hojgaard claimed the last automatic spot for Team Europe with a battling performance at the British Masters. 

He joins Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, Robert MacIntyre, Tyrrell Hatton and Justin Rose. 

U.S. Ryder Cup skipper Keegan Bradley knows his qualifiers. 

We just want to find out if he'll pick himself... 

How he fares over the next 18 holes will determine that.

Wow. Where did that come from? Scottie Scheffler blasts his tee shot down the left and his golf ball skirts underneath a fence. That's a re-load. 

Cameron Young finds the fairway and Scheffler is safely down the middle with his third. 

He does make mistakes...
