Confirmed: Dates revealed for 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor
Ryder Cup Europe have confirmed when the 2027 matches will be played when the biennial contest heads to Adare Manor in Ireland.
The 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor will be played over 17-19 September, it has been confirmed.
Ryder Cup Europe confirmed the news on Wednesday.
It will be the second time Ireland has hosted the biennial dust-up after Europe's victory over the U.S. at the K Club in 2006.
Former Masters champion Ian Woosnam led the blue and gold to an 18½ - 9½ win in County Kildare.
The 2006 Ryder Cup was deeply emotional for Darren Clarke as it came shortly after the tragic death of his wife Heather from breast cancer.
Heather passed just six weeks before the Ryder Cup and Clarke delivered three points for Europe.
His week also included victory over Zach Johnson in the Sunday singles.
Tears flowed as he embraced his caddie Billy Foster and Woosnam.
The 2027 event will be the 46th edition of the Ryder Cup and, to mark its 100th anniversary, four 'build-up days' will take place over 13-16 September.
"Rory McIlroy's victory in the Masters last month to complete the career grand slam, combined with anticipation of July's Open Championship (at Royal Portrush), has already heightened the buzz around golf on the island of Ireland," said DP World Tour chief executive Guy Kinnings.
"This announcement will add to that excitement as Ireland continues its preparation to host golf's greatest team competition for the second time in 2027 when the Ryder Cup celebrates its 100th anniversary."
Patrick O'Donovan, Irish Minister for arts, culture, communications, media and sport, said: "The passion of Irish people for golf makes Ireland really stand out internationally as a golfing venue.

"For Ryder Cup week, the eyes of the sporting world will be on the beautiful village of Adare and I am confident that the local community and the people of Limerick and Ireland generally will ensure this event is a wonderful success and that all who attend will want to return to visit Ireland again."
The 2025 Ryder Cup will be played at Bethpage Black on the outskirts of New York.
Luke Donald will captain Europe once again after he was convinced to run it back after the team's success in Italy two years ago.
Former World No.1 Donald helped orchestrate a five-point victory at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome.
Keegan Bradley has succeeded the aforementioned Johnson as the Team USA skipper.
Bradley still harbours aspirations that he will qualify for the team on merit.

The captains for the 2027 Ryder Cup have not yet been announced.
England's Justin Rose is seen as the frontrunner to replace Donald.
It was speculated that former U.S. Open champ Graeme McDowell was going to lead Europe at the 2027 with Phil Mickelson as his counterpart.
Both players moved to LIV Golf in 2022 and their future participation in leadership roles at the Ryder Cup is unclear.
Tiger Woods passed on the opportunity to captain Team USA after the 2023 matches but is likely to succeed Bradley.
