Golf analyst reveals why "toxic" Patrick Reed should not be picked on Ryder Cup team
Golf analyst Eamon Lynch believes Keegan Bradley cannot pick Patrick Reed on his 2025 US Ryder Cup side because of the "toxicity" Team Reed brings to the team room.

Golf Channel analyst Eamon Lynch believes Keegan Bradley should not pick Patrick Reed on the 2025 US Ryder Cup team because he's "toxic".
Lynch, who has constantly bashed LIV Golf players in recent years, believes "toxicity is almost guaranteed" in the team room should captain Bradley decide to hand Reed one of his six picks at the end of August.
Former Masters champion Reed, 34, captured his first LIV Golf title in Dallas at the weekend.
A viral video showed a heckler shockingly confronting Reed en route to his playoff victory.
Reed's latest victory has now led to a flurry of golf fans considering 'Captain America' Reed could very well sneak a place on the team.
He has pushed himself up into the top 30 on Data Golf as a result of his latest performances, one of which saw him finish third at The Masters in April.
Throw in his impressive 7-3-2 record from three Ryder Cup matches, the last of which came in 2018, and Reed is very much building a case for a pick.
Particularly when you consider a number of American players such as Max Homa, Tony Finau, Wyndham Clark and Sahith Theegala are all badly out of form at the moment.
Lynch admits as a European he would love to see Reed be picked on the United States team given the "toxicity" that Team Reed brings to the team room.
"What interested me most [over the weekend] is the one that will fire up all the bots, is Patrick Reed," said Lynch, two months out until captain's picks are made ahead of the Ryder Cup.
"He won the LIV event, his first win on the LIV Tour in Dallas, and it's immediately started this conversation about whether or not Patrick Reed ought to be on the Ryder Cup team, which as a European, I hope he is..."
Lynch added: "If you are Keegan Bradley and you have a deep bench on your team, the idea of introducing toxicity into the team room makes no sense whatsoever, and it doesn't get much more toxic than Team Reed in golf.
"The idea of introducing that into a team room when you don't need it, just seems so outlandlish, but I do as a European that it happens."
When pressed to give his verdict on captain Bradley recently saying he wants to take the 12 best Americans on the team regardless of affiliation, Lynch continued to unload on Reed's possible inclusion.
"Yeah, the 12 best they are willing to tolerate is usually what it means," replied Lynch.
