Min Woo Lee has become the 20th player to sign up to Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's new golf league TGL.

Lee, 25, won his third professional title at the Macau Open last week, and his year has continued to get better as he revealed today before the ZOZO Championship he will be joining a star-studded lineup of PGA and DP World Tour players to take part in TGL.

The new tech-infused golf league is set to kick off in January 2024.

The news of Lee's addition to the TGL roster comes only days after Cam Young, Sahith Theegala and Keegan Bradley were also confirmed to have joined, with the total number of players having officially signed now coming to 20.

With the league having confirmed that the entire lineup had been extended from 18 to 24 players, there are still four spots up for grabs before the league commences.

A popular figure around the world, Lee is one of two Australians to have signed to the league, joining 2013 Masters champion Adam Scott.

It is unclear as of yet who is going to be in each team, but Lee was unsurprisingly eager to get the chance to play with Woods.

In a press conference, Lee said:

"I hope to be on his [Tiger's] team because I know his trash talking with him and JT it's pretty funny, all the stuff.
"I don't know if I'll be trash talking him because I don't have much to back up against his words, but maybe I can try and throw him off a little bit, but I know he's a man of many talents, so I'm sure he'll be fine."

Set to start on January 9, the TGL will take place in a purpose-built venue in Florida called the So-Fi Centre.

Featuring a virtual simulator 20 times the size of a standard simulator screen, the venue will be able to host 2,000 fans on game nights, giving them a high-tech, close-quarters fan experience.

Lee has joined a packed roster of players that includes the founders Woods and McIlroy as well as some of the best players in the world, including Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler and many others.
