1. Grayshott Golf Centre

Grayshott is located near Haslemere in the southwest of Surrey. There are 23 heated, covered and floodlit bays as well as a short game practice area. Swing analysis equipment and lessons are also available for those interested.

2. Chessington Golf Centre

Chessington has 18 floodlit bays, most of which have automated tees. The range itself has target greens to make your practice as realistic as possible.

3. Addington Court Golf Centre

With 32 bays, Addington Court is quite a large driving range in the north of Surrey. There is also a relatively cheap 18-hole course on site for those looking to play golf in Surrey without the usual pricetag.

4. Croydon Driving Range

The World of Golf in Croydon boasts a state-of-the-art 24-bay floodlit driving range. All of the bays feature automated tees and there are also some video analysis coaching bays. However, it is worth getting a pre-paid range card, as the pay-as-you-go prices are quite steep.

5. Sandown Park Golf Centre

Located inside the famous race course, Sandown Park is a driving range with a difference. There are 33 bays - 20 with automated tees and six that are heated. From April to October there are also five outdoor bay areas on the grass, available only at weekends. The range has target greens and distance markers. Loyalty cards are also on offer to reduce range token prices.

6. Surrey Downs Practice Range & Academy

For eight months of the year Surrey Downs offers outdoor teeing areas so you can hit off the grass, with indoor bays in use during the winter. There are also a variety of memberships available offering discounted prices.

7. Hoebridge Golf Centre

Hoebridge offers 36 floodlit and covered bays from which to practise, and is open until 10pm every night. There are targets and markers on the range, and there is also a putting green and designated short-game area to enable you to hone all the different aspects of your game.
