Centurion to be replaced by new English course for 2024 LIV Golf season

LIV Golf has moved on from Centurion in St Albans in favour of a new course in England.

Centurion Golf Club, which hosted the inaugural LIV Golf event that took place in June of 2022, has been dropped from the schedule for 2024, to make way for the exclusive JCB Country Club in Staffordshire.

Despite speculation that the breakaway tour may cease to exist as part of ongoing merger negotiations between LIV and the PGA Tour, the Saudi-backed league has moved forward with planning its schedule for the new year and has selected JCB Country Club to be its new home in England.

As first reported by James Corrigan of The Telegraph, it is unknown why Centurion has been ditched in favour of JCB Country Club, and it is understood that despite being dropped from the schedule, the relationship held between the St Albans club and LIV is still strong, with a possible return not ruled out, if the Tour is still up and running in a few years time.

The JCB course won't be LIV Golf's only new venue next year, though, with rumours already circulating that courses in Hong Kong and South Korea will also be added to the rota.

While it appears that Adelaide, Valderrama, Mexico and Singapore will all retain their events, Trump Courses in the United States appear to have also been removed from the schedule, with Trump supposedly concentrating fully on running in the 2024 presidential election.
