Danish twins Rasmus and Nicolai Hojgaard tee up chance for DP World Tour…

Rasmus Hojgaard and his twin brother Nicolai are both in contention heading into the final day of the Ral al Khaimah Championship.

But the Danish brothers - who joined the Callaway staff this season - will have to chase down 54-hole leader Zander Lombard.

Lombard leads Rasmus by one stroke at 16-under par at Al Hamra GC on the DP World Tour

England's Daniel Gavins is two strokes behind the lead with France's Matthieu Pavon also in the mix.

Nicolai Hojgaard has the most work to do and is placed in T-5 with Sweden's Alexander Bjork on 13-under par following his 5-under 67 which included an eagle at No. 12 when he holed out from 127 yards.

Watch that here:

Remarkably, if Rasmus was to claim victory then he and Nicola would become the first brothers to win the same tournament on the DP World Tour.

Nicolai won this tournament in 2022 with a four-stroke victory over England's Jordan Smith. It was his second DP World Tour victory.

As for Lombard, the 28-year-old South African, he was bogey-free in the third round and fired nine birdies on his way to a 63.

He is chasing his maiden victory on the circuit while Gavins is hoping to add a second victory to his resume.

Gavins claimed the ISPS Handa World Invitational last August.

Lombard told Sky Sports:

"You don't shoot that every day. It feels good, I did a lot of things really well. I kept it steady, kept it solid, managed to hole a few putts. I've knocked on a lot of doors so it would be good to get over the line [and win]."

The defending champion of this event is Ryan Fox, who sits in T-13 at 9-under with 18 holes left.

The prize purse for the Ral al Khaimah Championship is $2m. The winner will receive a cheque for $340,000.
