Titleist Pro V1x
Titleist Pro V1x

1. Titleist Pro V1x

Wins: 14

The firmer, higher-launching and spinnier variant of the regular Pro V1, the Pro V1x saw the most success of Titleist's two flagship ball models on tour this year. Racking up more than a dozen wins so far, and a major victory at the U.S. Open, the Pro V1x still stands clear as the firm favourite of the pros, including Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Rose, and Wyndham Clark.

While the standard Pro V1x accounted for most of these wins, it also served as the base for Titleist's most successful experimental models, with Cameron Young scoring a pair of wins using the Pro V1x "Double Dot", and J.T. Poston picking up a win at The Memorial with the Pro V1x "Left-Dash".

2. Titleist Pro V1

Wins: 7

Titleist's Pro V1 is the most iconic, and best-selling, tour-level ball in golf, and thanks in large part to one Scottie Scheffler, was the winningest ball on tour this year last year. In 2026, it drops down to number two, however its 7 wins so far, including a PGA Championship in the hands of Aaron Rai, is a testament to the model's enduring quality.

3. Bridgestone Tour B X

Wins: 4

Bridgestone's re-emergence into the tour winners circle came thanks to the exploits of one Chris Gotterup - who as the brand's current marquee player used the Tour B X in each of his three PGA Tour Victories this year (including one when the Tour B X was simply known as the VS Proto Black). Brandt Snedeker also used the Tour B X in his comeback victory at the Myrtle Beach Classic

T4. Srixon Z-Star Diamond

Wins: 2

The Z-Star Diamond stands clear as the winningest ball from Srixon this year, despite its brother, the Z-Star XV, giving the brand its sole major win at The Open in the hands of Ryan Fox. J.J. Spaun and Nico Echavarria took the Diamond to victory at the Texas Open and the Cognizant Classic respectively, capping off another solid year for a brand that punches well above its weight given the size of its tour roster.

T4. TaylorMade TP5

Wins: 2

TaylorMade's TP5 has just a smattering of users on tour. It helps, however, when one of those players is a certain Rory McIlroy. The Northern Irishman made a surprise switch into the TP5 in 2025, seeing immediate success with his famous victory at the Masters, and famously went back-to-back with the same model this year. Michael Thorbjornsen then made it a pair of wins for the base TP5 as he prevailed at last month's Rocket Classic.

T4. TaylorMade TP5x

Wins: 2

Much like Titleist's Pro V1x, TaylorMade's TP5x tends to earn the favour of tour players thanks to its added speed and spin. The TP5x claimed wins thanks to Collin Morikawa, who used the ball at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and Jacob Bridgeman, who made it a pair of wins in a fortnight at the Genesis Invitational.
