Europe’s leading golf retailer American Golf is hosting an exciting nationwide Garmin Target Challenge across its retail stores until Sunday 1st October to celebrate both the Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup drawing the 2023 summer season to a close.

Golfing buddies, families, and friends alike are being invited to head down to their nearest retail store to give their best swing and be in with a chance of winning the ultimate Garmin prize bundle.

To enter, visitors into store simply need to hit three shots (virtually or on a range, depending on store location) as close as possible to 146 yards – representing the distance of the second hole at the Marco Simeone course - take a picture of their closest shot and post to their Instagram account, tagging @Garmingolf and @AmericanGolf, along with #AGxGarmin.

No bookings necessary – those keen to take part just need to head into their local store and American Golf staff will set them up in a free bay.  Alternatively, participants can take advantage of the retailer’s free custom fitting service and add the challenge onto their session.

“Given that the Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup are enjoyed by millions of spectators around the world, we thought we’d give golfers the chance to up their game with Garmin.  The person who nails the closest shot to 146 yards will be rewarded with some outstanding technology to aid game performance – it’s free to take part so it’s the ideal activity for all to join in.”
