Tiger Woods has been spotted using a Scotty Cameron Futura mallet putter during a Presidents Cup press event in Australia - but don't worry Tiger fans, it doesn't appear like he'll be binning his Newport 2 anytime soon.

Woods has flirted with a number of different putters in 2018 including the TaylorMade Ardmore 3 mallet putter, but he then switched back to his adored Scotty Cameron Newport 2 shortly before going on to clinch his 80th PGA Tour title at the Tour Championship in September.

The former world number one's current equipment deal leaves space for a new putter should he so wish given he is only under contract for 13 TaylorMade clubs and a Bridgestone ball.

According to a Titleist rep in an interview with Golf.com's Jonathan Wall, the 14-time major champion was only using the putter as a prop as part of a Presidents Cup shoot.

The putter also didn't have his PING PP58 putting grip that he has always used.
