Miura's new 'Baby Blades' might be the purest irons on the planet
The legendary Japanese manufacturer returns with the irons designed by Katsuhiro Miura for his own personal use.

Very few irons are as pure as those made by Miura, and arguably no Miura irons are as pure as a new model the legendary Japanese forger has unveiled today.
Already renowned for making irons that look and feel as clean and crisp as the driven snow, Miura have looked to the company's founder, Katsuhiro Miura, for inspiration, bringing what it has dubbed 'Miura's Masterpiece' to the market for the first time.
Officially called the KM-Baby Blade, the irons were designed by Miura himself for his own personal use, and distill the very essence of the brand's manufacturing approach into a single set of irons. Each club is 15% smaller than Miura's standard blade profile, forged as ever in Miura's Family Factory in, Japan.

The Baby Blades feature the classic, minimal finishing and profile we've come to expect from the company's blades, with the Hanko Stamp on the butt of the club head denoting its status as one of Miura's most treasured designs.
"The KM-Baby Blade is leaner, more exacting, and engineered for the golfer who seeks ultimate control and workability," Miura Golf's Bill Holowaty says.

While the Baby Blades are very much built for the golfer who view blade irons as a challenge to be taken on rather than feared, they do have a couple of features to help players along the way. Miura's Y-Sole design, previously thought up by Miura's son Yoshitaka and introduced on this model for the first time, aids turf interaction and playability, helping more golfers get confident hitting the club.
"Our goal with the creation of these new KM-Baby Blade irons was to reward commitment and help players realise that they are better ball-strikers than they believed," Holowaty continues.

Miura's KM-Baby Blades will be to pre-order from October 7 in lofts ranging from 3-PW. Prices start from £385 per club. You can learn more at Miura's website.
