TaylorMade and Garmin unveil new special edition S70 Smartwatch

The striking new smartwatch features a whole host of game-improving features encased in a sleek body that showcases TaylorMade's stylistic flair.

TaylorMade Golf and Garmin, two of golf's biggest brands, have teamed up to create a special edition Garmin Approach S70 smartwatch. The collaboration blends Garmin's innovative technologies with TaylorMade's industry-leading styling. 

The special edition smartwatch features the TaylorMade “Metal-T” logo on the button crown enclosed by a TaylorMade exclusive copper ring around the bezel with TaylorMade and Garmin markings on the keepers. The watch bands are brought together with a copper clasp.

The unique copper colourway draws inspiration from the colour that is enriched in TaylorMade’s history, but spring boarded into the modern era on Garmin’s Approach S70 smartwatch. 

A stunning 1.4’’ AMOLED touch screen display brings more than 43,000 courses to life and features all the tools golfers can use to help lower their handicap.

Tools include advanced round and shot tracking with shot dispersion data for each club, as well as an enhanced PlaysLike distance feature and green contour data (subscription required).

From the driving range to the final putt, the TaylorMade Garmin Approach S70 covers golfers of all skills. The virtual caddie tool suggests a club based on a variety of factors, including historical swing data, elevation, wind speed, wind direction and more.

The Approach S70 can hold a charge for up to 16 days in smartwatch mode and up to 20 hours when using GPS.

Multi-sports functionality covers activities from yoga and running to strength training. Utilising advanced features like 24/7 health monitoring, heart rate tracking and sleep monitoring, this smartwatch delivers personalised insights on the Morning Report, including Sleep Score, HRV, weather, daily activities and positive affirmations.
