The new Stuburt Ace Casual Golf Shoes represent terrific value for money for a spikeless model in 2023.
They aren't the most impressive golf shoes we've ever tested, but they do offer plenty of comfort, a smooth fit and lots of breathability.
For that reason, and given their fair price too, they made their way into our Best Golf Shoes buyer guide this season.
Stuburt Ace Casual Golf Shoes - Looks
The new Stuburt Ace Casual Waterproof Spikeless Shoes don't quite have the 'wow' factor like some of the other best spikeless shoes on the market this season, but they do have a versatile and 'casual' look about them and we like that a lot.
You could quite easily walk around in town in these shoes and not look out of place, which adds further appeal.
The shoe features a subtle design with a Stuburt label on its tongue, and it has Stuburt raised branding on the outer.
There's more Stuburt branding underneath the shoe splashed on a giant red line, which looks pretty trendy indeed.
Stuburt Ace Casual Golf Shoes - Comfort and Performance
The best aspect of this shoe lies in its comfort, fit and breathability. This is all achieved with its Sock-Fit system.
While not quite as comfortable as the Ignite Foam from PUMA that we recently experienced, it is more than comfortable enough.
We really apreciated the shoe's breathability, which prevented sweat from accumulating inside the shoe on what was a very hot day on the course.
In terms of the overall fit, it was perfect to our standard shoe size.
The tongue rests nicely and softly on the top of the feet, giving you instant comfort from the moment you slip your feet inside.
The Stuburt Ace Casual golf shoe possesses a fully waterproof membrane and water-resistant coating, which adds further appeal, especially for a spikeless shoe.
There are much better golf shoes out there for your winter golf, but you can get away with wearing these shoes in all types of conditons so they do offer great value for all-year round golf in that regard. For us though, the Ace Casual is a much better option for your summer golf.
We would also say there are better golf shoes out there for stability as the lugs underneath do lack the added technology you receive from some of the major golf footwear brands such as PUMA, FootJoy and Under Armour. Don't get us wrong, we weren't slipping and slidding out there in these, but we just didn't feel quite as loaded to the ground as some of the other best golf shoes in our buyer guide for 2023.
Should you buy the Stuburt Ace Casual Golf Shoes?
The Stuburt Ace Casual golf shoe represents great value for money for a waterproof spikeless shoe.
It's a smart looking, versatile golf shoe that provides ample comfort and more than acceptable performance.
It just does not impress us quite as much as the PUMA Ignite Elevate spikeless shoe, which costs an additional £30.
