Eddie Pepperell at Open: "I find practice rounds incredibly boring"
England's Pepperell reveals he is not a fan of practice rounds...
Eddie Pepperell admitted to finding practice rounds "incredibly boring" after posting a respectable opening round of 1-under 70 at The Open.
"It was a solid start but I'm a little disappointed," said Pepperell.
"It's my first time playing the course, so to shoot under par is OK.
"I haven't played the course. I walked 13 holes yesterday but the weather was awful so we came in. This course is all in front of you off the tee. I'm not one to spend lots of time to practice. I find practice rounds incredibly boring."
