The Englishman produced two incredible recovery shots during the final round of the DP World Tour's flagship event.
Tyrrell Hatton did not win the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, but the Englishman produced two remarkable recovery shots that could rank among the best of the year.
The European Ryder Cup star pulled off his first stunning escape on the 9th hole of the West Course during the final round.
After sending his tee shot deep into the trees, Hatton was left with little more than a narrow gap to the green.
From 146 yards, however, he threaded the needle brilliantly, sending his ball through the trees and onto the putting surface.
Hatton then completed the recovery by rolling in the birdie putt.

It was not the only spectacular recovery Hatton produced during the final round of the DP World Tour's flagship event.
At the par-4 13th, another wayward tee shot left him in trouble again.
Once again, Hatton found a way out.
He shaped his approach around a tree, carried the bunker and landed the ball close to the pin before converting another birdie.

Hatton ultimately signed for a 5-under 67, but his week at Wentworth also comes with an interesting subplot surrounding his future.
The 34-year-old remains a LIV Golf player with Legion XIII, having joined the Saudi-backed circuit in 2024 alongside Ryder Cup team-mate Jon Rahm.
Hatton said last month that he had "multiple years" remaining on his LIV contract.
However, LIV Golf's future has become less certain after the league filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection earlier this month.
New investors have been identified, and the league is planning for its 2027 campaign, although the transaction is reportedly contingent on a sufficient number of players agreeing to continue.
Hatton has not indicated what he plans to do.
He was among eight players granted conditional releases by the DP World Tour for the 2026 season after agreeing to pay outstanding fines, fulfil additional tournament commitments and withdraw pending appeals.
Those releases apply only to this season.
The bigger question is what happens beyond 2026.
The PGA Tour has said it is not currently considering another special returning-member programme for LIV players.
That means Hatton could have to earn his way back through the established pathways if he ultimately leaves LIV.
For now, though, Hatton's immediate focus is to finish the season strongly on the DP World Tour.
