Father's Day: 8 presents your dad will go mad for

It’s Father's Day on 17 June.

(waiting for panic to set in).

But don’t worry, we’ve got a set of sterling presents you’re golfing dad will love to unwrap.

Whether you’re still living off the bank of said mum and dad and can’t dig so deep, or you’re a high-flier earning masses (but probably still unable to get on the property ladder...) and want to be a bit more generous, we’ve got you covered.

These are all presents we would be proud to both give and receive. Leave the novalty gifts that never get used, and get one of these...

G/Fore glove - £25

You cannot have too many golf gloves, so this is a real winner. G/Fore have a range of colourful mitts your Dad can match with his outfit, giving it the summer pop he’s been looking for.

Head to the G/Fore website for more.

Titleist ProV1 or TaylorMade TP5 - around £40 per dozen

The standard Father's Day present, but like the gloves he can’t have too many.

These two are expensive, because they’re premium, but you have the choice of going for a box of 12 of a sleeve of three. Although a sleeve of just three may seem a tad stingy (go for the dozen).

Head to the Titleist or TaylorMade website for more.

adidas golf Classics - £69.95

Make him “hipster Dad” with these Stan Smiths for golf. They’re insanely comfortable, and work excellently on the course too.

Head to the adidas website for more.

Jones Golf Bag - £159

For the price, no one is making golf bags like Jones. Classic, understated, but progressive and cool - everything you want your dad to be!

There’s a wide range to choose from, so you can find a style and colour your pa would be proud of.

Head to the Jones website for more.

Lie and Loft painting - varied

Lie and loft have a bunch of awesome paintings your dad will love - if he’s into that kinda thing.

There are prints, more minimalist stuff, large and small - whatever takes your fancy.

Head to the Lie and Loft website for more.

Golf book - varied

There are so many. But we have some favourites listed here to give you a helping hand.

  • Golf in the Kingdom, Michael Murphy
  • The Big Miss, Hank Haney
  • One Putt, Ken Brown
  • My Life in and Out of the Rough, John Daly
  • The greatest game ever played, Mark Frost

Golf lessons - varied

The most practical Father's Day present. No golfer on earth could do without some lessons from time to time, your old man included.

Head online to see where the nearest PGA Pro is to you.

Imperial Hats - varied

There are LOADS of golf hats out there, but Imperial make some of the best.

Their range is exhaustive, but excellent.
