WATCH: European Tour pro channels his inner Bryson DeChambeau!

Bryson DeChambeau may have set the bar high on Tour these days with a new ball speed of 211mph, but it would appear he has encouraged a number of other players on the PGA Tour and European Tour to follow in his footsteps.

One of those players is rising European Tour star Richard Mansell, 25, who took to social media to show off his new 190mph ball speed this week - and judging by his reaction, he loved every second of it! WATCH his hilarious video below:

That particular shot from Mansell saw him achieve an incredible 190mph ball speed, and 346 yards of distance. His clubhead speed stood at 127mph.

We caught up with Mansell off the back of his video post, and he said: "This was more of an experiment to see what I actually had in the locker! I then found I was hitting it quite straight... so going hard at the ball could be another potential tool for me this year."

Mansell claimed many players on the circuit have certainly had one eye on what DeChambeau has been doing off the tee in recent months - grunting noises and all

"I think everyone out here has been watching him," said Mansell. "The game is going in that direction whether some people like it or not. If you are not hitting it far now, you are at huge disadvantage."

Saying that, Mansell has not been getting carried away with his distance. Far from it.

"A lot of my work in my off-season - I'd say around 90% - has actually been put into my scoring clubs," he said. "I'm seeing a massive gain in that area so I'm really excited for the year ahead."

Now managed by Niall Horan's Modest Golf company, Mansell booked his place on the European Tour for 2021 after finishing fourth in the Challenge Tour's Order of Merit last year.

But just because he is relatively new to the main circuit, and ranked 256th in the world right now, Mansell claims he does not want to simply make up the numbers. The goals are much bigger than that.

"My goals this year are to try and pick up a win on the European Tour, and challenge for Rookie of the Year honours, and aim to move myself into the world's top 100," Mansell told GolfMagic.

Mansell is also an ambassador of Pulseroll, which recently featured in our latest Pro Shop video. Check out our review of the new Pulseroll Mini in the video below:
