Patrick Reed certainly knows how to make a headline and let's just say he's not the most popular guy on Tour. Well yesterday, during the second round of the 2019 US Open at Pebble Beach, Reed secured himself a few more haters when he snapped his wedge in half on the 18th hole.

Reed started the 18th poorly, sending his tee shot into the rough on the right hand side and then followed it up with his second that found a fairway bunker.

The American came out the bunker too hot and the ball soared over the green. In an attempt to save par, Reed played a lob shot towards the pin but again the ball had too much heat and rolled into the rough.

It was on his fifth shot where Reed had simply had enough as he completely duffed his attempted chip and the ball finished about two yards in front of him, still in the thick rough.

Reed then wrapped the wedge over his knee, completely snapping it into two pieces. The former Masters champion finished with a double bogey and beat the cut off point by one shot, meaning he will get to play the final two days of the 2019 US Open.
