Social media is going crazy after replay footage showed Tiger Woods being passed a note from a female spectator during his $9 million match against Phil Mickelson at Shadow Creek on Friday.
Woods, 42, appeared to shake a woman's hand as he walked past the crowd on his way to the next tee.
Yet on closer inspection from the Instagram post shared by Golf Viral, you can see the female fan slips a piece of paper into the 14-time major champion's hand...

Woods is currently dating restaurant manager Erica Herman, but that hasn't stopped a number of Instagram posters claiming the possibility that it was the digits of her phone number!

Herman was last seen in the public eye when kissing Woods when he walked off the 18th green having won his 80th PGA Tour title at the Tour Championship at East Lake in September.

Mickelson defeated Woods in their Las Vegas showdown when making birdie at the fourth extra hole to scoop the $9 million jackpot.
"He’s the greatest of all-time, but to have a little bit of smack talk for the coming years means a lot to me, because I really don’t have much on him," said Mickelson.
