Max Homa may be fully committed to the PGA Tour but he has taken to Twitter to reveal his admiration at all the interviews coming out of LIV Golf

So much so after listening to Phil Mickelson's rather biizarre comments ahead of LIV Golf Jeddah this week, Homa has come up with a brand new name for the Saudi-bankrolled circuit led by CEO Greg Norman.

"L.I.V Tour? More like the LIT Tour cuz these interview news dump days are straight [fire emojis]," Homa tweeted after having heard what Mickelson had to say to the media on Thursday afternoon.

Mickelson, who is the captain of the Hy Flyers GC team on the LIV Golf Tour, was asked whether or not he had changed his opinion of Saudi Arabia - following his controversial "scary motherf*****s" comment made to biographer Alan Shipbuck earlier this year.

"So I will reiterate, I never did an interview with Alan Shipnuck," Mickelson said firmly in his pre-tournament press conference on Thursday.

"I find that my experience with everybody associated with LIV Golf has been nothing but incredibly positive and I have the utmost respect for everybody that I've been involved with."

Mickelson also fired shots at the PGA Tour in his Thursday press conference.

"I see LIV Golf trending upwards, I see the PGA Tour trending downwards and I love the side that I'm on," said Mickelson.

"And I love how I feel. I love how I'm reinvigorated and excited to play golf and compete. I love the experience. I love the way they treat us."

It was not just Homa that was taken aback by Mickelson's press conference as DP World Tour pro Eddie Pepperell chimed in, too.

Pepperell tweeted: "I don’t even know what’s real anymore. Truly."
