Cobra ZL: All there in black and white!

COBRA PUMA GOLF claims it's their longest and most forgiving driver yet

Cobra ZL: All there in black and white!

It doesn’t matter if you’re black or white…

Cobra has unleashed its longest and most forgiving driver to date - the ZL Encore.

The company, which has its UK headquarters in Letherhead, says it features E9 Face Technology with dual roll to maximise impact off the clubface and Cobra’s exclusive Adjustable Flight Technology.

The ZL Encore is made from several materials, a  titanium body and face with a carbon fibre crown and sole. A swing weight screw moves the club’s centre of gravity further back to help get the ball airborne and maximise distance and ball flight.

“The ZL Encore driver uses a combination of technologies to provide added distance, accuracy and forgiveness,” says Tom Preece, vice-president of club research and development.

And it comes in a choice of black and white heads, at a recommended price of £319. Shafts options are Fujikura Motore F1 and F3.

The Cobra ZL Encore will be available from November 11 in stiff, regular and Lite flexes. Loft options are 8.5, 9.5, 10.5 and 11.5-degrees in men’s right-handed and 9.5 and 10.5-degrees left-handed.
