First Look: TaylorMade R15 driver
NEW! TaylorMade R15 driver

FOLLOWING 15 YEARS of groundbreaking metalwood technology from the No.1 driver brand in golf, TaylorMade has today fused everything in its locker with brand new innovations into a game-changing design.

Welcome to the R15 family of metalwoods, comprising R15 driver, R15 fairway woods and R15 rescue

On first inspection of the R15 driver, there definitely appears a hat tip to the SLDR, R1 and R11 drivers of recent years. What do you think?

The R15 Driver represents TaylorMade's most technologically advanced driver ever.

It features a more lower and more forward centre of gravity (CG) for ideal high launch/low spin characteristics to create optimum launch conditions for maxmimum distance.

A brand new Front Track system brings the revolutionary Speed Pocket to the R franchise for the first ever time. This helps to reduce the spin and increase the sweet spot.

TaylorMade has added two sliding split weights to the Front Track giving the golfer every possible trajectory they could wish for. Place both split weights (each weighs 12.5g so a total of 25g) in the heel for a draw, in the toe for a fade, split them for maximum stability or centre them for maximum distance.

On top of all that, a 4-degree loft sleeve presents more adjustability and more loft options to help the golfer Loft Up.

In terms of appearance, there's a larger crown shape on offer with silent, yet neat alignment aid. On first inspection, it's got the look of the R11 crown from several years ago. It also comes with a very smart, red and white punchbag-style headcover.

For players who want to look down on something smaller, there's a 430cc model available.
